Scaling Scrum: How agile transformation succeeds with multiple DWH teams
Introducing agile working methods in a single team is relatively simple. Implementing it for several teams in a department such as DHW, Reporting or BI is much more complex. At S-Kreditpartner (SKP), we have adapted scaling scrum methods for ourselves and introduced an agile way of working based on scrum and Kanban in the data management department. With success! This experience report describes our journey from the start with several, independently operating development teams to a scaling organisational unit with integrated teams. Using examples, we will describe the challenges and experiences of this journey and the lessons we learnt along the way.

Transforming Minds and Culture: Re-skilling and Psychological Safety in a Tech Transformation
Our unit has the opportunity to move its platforms and data to the AWS Cloud. This is a positive prospect and a major challenge at the same time. Parallel to the technical transformation, we are trying to enable all employees to re-skill and carry out a cultural transformation.
The main challenges we are facing are
- Dealing with uncertainty
- Getting employee buy-in for the move to the cloud
- Carrying out the re-skilling
- Giving people a sense of belonging and psychological security in a complex environment
Learn more about how we deal with these challenges (using insights from neuropsychology and without a special budget) and which measures have worked best! We look forward to seeing you there!
